Anxious Wonders (2023) advanced, 5:00

For SAT, trombone trio, and organ. Composed in memory of Alice and Lisa. Alice was my great-grandmother and Lisa was my colleague at NDC. Both of these amazing humans passed away within 2 days of each other in December of 2021. After these deaths, I found myself weeping and reflecting one night in Christ The King Chapel (beautiful chapel at my College). This piece captivates the feeling I experienced of grief and gratitude that quiet night.

This work was written with the NDC Choirs in mind for a premiere at NDC during the 2023-2024 season.
